Do NOT include Online Payments by default with Secure Invoicing.

Upgrading to Secure Invoicing should not be connected by default to Online Invoice Payments. These two things should be separate. For MYOB users to continue emailing Invoices requires the mandatory upgrade to Secure Invoicing - fine. But it SHOULD NOT cause the activation of Online Invoice Payments by default. And the option to "not allow" isn't working universally. Until that flaw is completely fixed, Online Invoice Payments must be separate from Secure Invoicing upgrades.

    We are having so many issues because this has been an automatic opt in instead of a choice.  Remove it MYOB so we can decide!

    This is disgusting, its about time the Australian business stood up to this corporate bullying - In the real world this is called Extortion

    This idea is being closed as it's unlikely we will explore this idea. The secure invoicing upgrade is being rolled out to customers to help add multiple layers of security for your business. This involves the distribution of invoices using MYOB software, fraud monitoring and secure payment of invoices combined into a single MYOB Secure invoicing ecosystem to provide the best possible protection for businesses and consumers.

    Although these features are combined, you have the flexibility to adjust settings to suit your preferences around the secure payment methods. Learn more about changing your settings here.

  • the most ridiculous thing is when they rolled it out, i was forced to sign a direct debit with myob, just to be able to continue emailing invoices. i emailed to tell them i did not want this and i will never be using the myob online payments but that went unanswered. they're just rail roading this onto users without any due consideration. there's no way to rescind the direct debit agreement. what's to stop them from abusing that in the future and taking money out of my bank account?
