Pay Items: Option to make them inactive

As pay items can't be deleted, users would like the option to mark pay items as inactive so they don't appear on the drop down list to select from.

    This is something that seems like a no brainer, if you can't delete, please allow us to make it inactive. we as bookkeeper like to make things look clean and also that we do not have to search through a long list constantly.  PLEASE MYOB IMPLEMENT THIS!!

    How can there not be thousands of votes for this!!!! It is so time consuming to have pay items from a decade ago still in the drop down list. Surely there is a way to fix this. While I am at it I also think it is time MYOB catered to weekend rates for employees. It seems ridiculous that we have to manually allocate weekend rates for employees. I only have 30 employees but for companies that have hundreds how do they cope with this????:
