LONG SERVICE LEAVE CARRY OVER

Hi,

Long Service Leave balance.

I need to enter in a carry over balance for 2 employees.

I have done a void pay for one of the employees and it hasn't shown in the carry over balance it has gone in the YTD column.  Is this correct.

Is there 2 ways of doing the entry

  • via a void pay or
  • just entering in the Carry Over Column

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards

Re: LONG SERVICE LEAVE CARRY OVER

HI @Jackio

Any time a pay is recorded, any figures on that pay will be added to the YTD column. This is how AccountRight is designed, as it assumes that any pay recorded will form part of this payroll years figures.

The carry over column will track the balance at the end of the previous year of that accrual, if the option to carry the balance over is ticked on the payroll category. If this wasn’t ticked you can go into the employee’s card and type the carry over figure into that column

Regards,
Neil
