Sales [Customer Summary] timeouts

After numerous attempts this report simply will not run and timeout. I run MYOB Account Right off the cloud and other users in my office have the same error message.

 

Ironically the Sales [Customer Detail] report will run?

 

Is there a comprehensive solution to this issue -  looks like some other MYOB users on this forum are experiencing the same problem.

    An alternative to running this report can be restoring a backup of the file locally and then trying on the local copy.

     

    If that does not work, you can backup the file, send us your serial number and company file name by Private Message so we can remove the file from the cloud, restore the file locally and then upload it again by going to File>>Go Online. This process will upload the file to a different server to what it was stored initially thereby preventing time-outs. 

     

    However, please do note that all online file users will need to be reinvited after the file has been reuploaded. This is because when the online file is removed from the cloud, all online file users lose access to the online file. Let us know how you wish to proceed.

      thank you for the reply. Shame it has to be done offline but at least it worked .....

    • So there is no other option for running Customer Summary sales report?  Is this work around just a one-time fix?

        Hi Teachers4Teache 

         

        The workaround of removing the file from one server and uploading it on another does not need to be repeated quite frequently. However, taking the file offline and running reports that way would have to be done every time you wish to run the Customer Summary report. That said, work is ongoing to fix this permanently in the future releases.
