Historical Leave Accruals on Payslip

Hi Guys

After closing off payroll for EOFY, the leave accruals on the payslips are only showing current YTD. Is there any way to show the full roll over amount from previous years. Using Accountright 2020.2

TIA

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

This happens every year, AccountRight requires a Payroll Category to be used in a payroll year to be able to display it on payslips.

You could run a dummy payslip and add 1 to the each of the entitlement catergories and run the pays.

Then locate and reverse them so that the 1 is removed from the entitlements so that the correct totals remain.

The entitlements should now show on the payslips in future.

Do you have Setup>>Preferences>>Reports and Forms>>Include all YTD amounts and Entitlement Balances on Paycheque stubs enabled? If that is not enabled, it will not report the year to date information from payroll categories, not used on that pay.

Note: A payroll category does need to have been used in a payroll transaction in the payroll year to show up with that preference enabled.

Thank you so much GDay53 that worked a treat

I already had those settings ticked in preferences, did a dummy payrun of 1 of each entitlement but put values at Zero for STP then went back and deleted. I then reprinted last weeks payslips and now all accruals are showing

      Thank you again :)

  • Morning Everyone

After finalising my EOFY payroll and after processing my first payroll, the accruals showing on the payslips are only current YTD. Is there any way I can have total accrauls from Previous years showing on the payslip.

    Using Accountright 2020.2

    Thanks heaps in advance

    Hello Aziza07

Further to GDay53's helpful post, you can check to ensure that last year's figures have rolled over correctly by navigating to Payroll Details in the Employee Card and clicking on Entitlements. This displays the total number of hours of each leave type an employee is entitled to take, made up of leave adjustments, leave carried over from previous years and leave accrued in the current payroll year. As indicated above, you can set your preference to include total entitlement figures and YTD figures on payslips via Setup > Preferences > Reports & Forms > Include all YTD amounts and Entitlement Balances on Paycheque Stubs. Please see this Help Article for further information.
