PAYROLL - PROCESSING

We have a small payroll only 4 on staff with same wages weekly.

I will be away for 4 weeks and have no one to process the payroll.

The wages will be paid but it seems the ATO want the payroll processed to them weekly.

Any suggestions how to get around this.  Can I leave and process each week on my return.

Thank you for your post. I'd like to extend you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.

You can process a separate weekly payroll in advance, just make sure to enter the correct date (pay period's start- pay period's end) and the (payment date) and the tax will be correct. Your employees will receive more than one pay slip.
