Please bring back notes in the transactions view. I used this to track purchases without receipts, so they were easy to find to upload receipts I got later, or note why receipts were missing.
I don't want to be able to change the Bank transaction description, I just want my separate notes box back.
Thx,
Kim

Hi Melissa,
I'm referring to the Transactions view, where we used to have a 'notes' section, yellow highlighted section in the screenshot. I used it to mark up expenses without receipts or other small things I had to remind myself of.

Hi @KimmyGS,
Thanks for the screenshot. To add notes in the upgraded platform you will need hover over the description of the bank transaction and a purple pen will appear. Here you can enter in notes and save.
Cheers,
Melisa

Hi Melisa,
Thank you for your answer, but it's actually not correct. The purple pen will appear but notes you put in will replace/change the bank statement description, which is not what I'm looking to do as this could easily result in errors in our accounting system.
For notes to work, in my opinion, they need to be separate from the bank statement description, as thye used to be.
It would therefore be good if the previous functionality could be brought back.
Cheers,
Kim

Hi @KimmyGS,
The purple pen allows you to add notes to the description, you don't have to replace or delete the description.
We appreciate your feedback and I've passed it on to the teams.
Cheers,
Melisa
