not fixed as of 27/04/2023 - unless i havent been notified of an update/fix.

I recieved an email telling me to uninstall current payroll version which I did, and then to click on a new installer

Did uninstalling it and re-installing work?

Yes, still asks for a password when you open it, but I just click no.

It had a link in email to new installer but yes 2023.1

I don't beleive this is the solution because if you uninstall the product surely you loses everything right....?

Nope, I just made a backup, uninstalled payroll. Downloaded the new installer and everything was there still
