About me:

I am Priya Selvaraj, working at MYOB for the last 10 years in the support team and recently joined the "Social and Community Support" team as a Senior Social Media Representative. I will be onboarding new members and facilitating this hub and very thrilled to be a part of this group. MYOB community has been a great resource of support articles for anyone who uses the software and I strongly foresee this group will evolve as a significant payroll community in the future, benefitting MYOB users extensively. 

Our Goal:

We would like to emphasize that this group hub is not just a platform for seeking solutions to technical issues or discussing product updates. Our intention is to create a space where ideas are born and nurtured, and where we collectively strive to improve and develop for business and our customers. We also want our group members to have conversations with each other that could benefit everyone in the community.

Thanks for the invitation to this forum - although I'm not sure what it will achieve - time will tell I guess.

From a NZ point of view - I would like much more information about the NZ Payrolls - the old and the new - we get very little information these days. I specialise in Payroll, and don't know what the future holds - just the hearsay, the guessing about sunset dates. How about some definitive information we can work with and plan ahead?

Apologies for the delayed response!  This group has been initiated to build an engaging community, share insights, and exchange best practices within the payroll hoping this group to establish a go-to resource and build valuable connections among the wider MYOB community.

I do understand your concerns about the information and resources about NZ Payrolls. If you like to know any specific information about the NZ payroll, please raise it as a discussion, hopefully, other partners can engage and provide relevant information (if available). If it's not available, moderators will liaise with the internal team to provide relevant information.

At this stage, there isn’t any talk about retiring NZ payroll versions, but we have initiated the Essentials to MYOB Business migration (NZ only) process for a small cohort of customers, and more detailed information can be found in the below link;

We will keep this group updated if there are any upcoming changes in Payroll.
