We have to do it for so many creditors now it is a joke. Always about making their internal systems easier. My question with this change is about using the online version of Accountright to access our account management. Our small business uses the desktop version with four users. Can I just go to the online version to make my changes to the account as the administrator and continue using offline for our day to day usage. I have little knowledge of the online version other than what MYOB itself says it has limitations. So is there an Online instruction for dummies here . I have been using offline since 1994. So now we have to jump about on and off to do certain things. That is also not helpful. More like taking care of MYOB than customers. Just like the last change which forced us to now manually send invoices one by one. For us that is about 30 a day. Trying to figure your agenda here. The changes from 2026 will change access to this very forum that gives us so much help. Accountright Verification I am very confused by all I have read on this and have been a user for a very long time. Please bear with me as I have apparently have 15 days to Verify. I do not use MYOB online. I use the desktop version and have four registered users. Does this verification apply if you do not use the Online Web version? Or am I getting the terminology confused here. I have two companies covered by my subscription one Australian and one in the Solomon Islands. How do I verify two? Or do I only verify the Australian Company. Getting info from Sol Island will be very time consuming. When I went in to verify I was asked to select a business name to attach to the ABN - I have numerous. We issue different invoices for our different entities - businesses we bought and still trade under those names. How am I supposed to cover that. Verifying will be very complex and you seem to want to put us in this one box. A company may have numerous businesses trading under it providing very different things within different industries. How do you enter thta information. Simple example would be a husband and wife owning a company thta provies hair dressing srevices and plumbing services with separate trading names but under one company> So if I do not verify - because at this point I do not know how. I lose the ability to sent invoices directly from MYOB using the contact details we have from decades of use and print a PDF and send one by one with no email database access? We issue many small value invoices to the likes of solicitors , real estate agents, commercial entities and government bodies in a day. We do not use online payments or bank feeds at this point for a number of reasons. Does this impact sending statements? This is such an over reach for small businesses perhaps the worst yet. It is also obvious that you are using some source for data checking which is not lining up somehow. Hence you cannot verify anyway. It is also clear that you want to pigeon hole entities and clearly have no idea about the myriads of structures of businesses. Please advise how to get an extension until you can answer my questions and/or get someone to download my Card data bases and work out some software to manually send invoices. The explanation of Member Access has always been very confusing . So how I fixed this button debacle regarding P&L details etc is to go back try once again to understand Managing Access and Roles and fixed this. I had from the beginning set all my users up as Administrators. First mistake. They had access to everything but my users were never going to be that adventurous and at any point in time nothing is finalised or up to date. So I wasnt worried. Untill now the P&L button is right in their face. This included Accountant BookKeeper and Administrator. So what I needed to do is remove them as Admisinistrator and invite them as online users where you can set up restrictions I have stopped access to Accountant Bookkeeper and ticked what they needed any other roles. They have been working for days now and they have the correct access but no view of high level information. This Access and role set up has always been confusing and to me alot of experimentation to now get right after this update. Hope this helps Re: MYOB AccountRight Command Centre Changes Yes I too am trying to redefine user access. With the P&L and Balance Sheet button right there in every users face. There has always been a problem trying to define access in terms of confidentiality of company details in the wrong hands. kml setting access and roles is also so difficult to understand . I have been trying for hours . I need to stop access to certain reports and allow other. If I manage to do so does thta TAB button still give them access to P & L. Wasted my time on this rather than doing my urgent work. Such a pain!!!! Customise Receipts - Changing Date Format It would appear that the US date format issue has still not been fixed. The last update I found here was two years ago. But then it is still happening. Any sight of a fix? Thanks Rhondfa Re: Administrator issue Am having the exact same issue with one of my company files but not the other. Changed my email address and as administrator I cannot login in to my main file. Recurring Transactions causing drop out When I change , correct/ update my recurring transactions, MYOB Accountright 2024 drops out . Help please.
