Additional Filter categories for Reports
The Fields options really needs to be expanded if possible as it greatly restricts the flexibility of custom reports. eg. I would like to add the Terms as a heading in my Accounts recievable and Payable reports as some companies have 7, 21 days etc or for receivables this would be a simple way of ensuring customers have the correct terms in their card files and can be easily monitored each month as new customers are loaded in the system. With the amount of data that MYOB holds its reports system is quite inflexible really?128Views1like4CommentsQuick access toolbar in reports - Save settings
Hi, I recently discovered that I can add "export to excel" or "email PDF" to the quick access menu when running reports. Yay, finally a positive point for MYOB. Yet, to my dismay, it turns out it doesn't stay there once I close the report. Boohoo. What's the point? Please change this so that if I add something to the quick access toolbar, it stays there! I even tried saving the report as a custom report with it already added to the toolbar but that didn't save it either. Soooo much potential. And if you're making that change, could you please make a way to differentiate between the export to excel and send as excel icons, and export to pdf and send as pdf icons? The two icons are identical, and there is no hover message to say what they are.83Views1like3CommentsAdd ability to filter detail items by category in Coding Report
There is a filter on the coding report that allows the selection of categories. This works for filtering header records only, and "category" simply relates to the header accounts shown in the report. What would be more useful is an ability to filter the selected accounts' detail records by category as well, so I can determine which category transactions for an account were allocated to. this would allow, for example, to filter transactions on my main bank account that were allocated to owner/shareholder drawings, insurance, vehicle maintenance, or any other category for that matter. This seems as if it might have been the original intention of the report when considering the column headings, but category filtering was not included for the detail records, only for the header records. Thank you, Kylie.85Views0likes3CommentsMore flexibility required in Report Packs
Hello MYOB Developers, I have attempted to setup a 'Library' of Report Packs to suit my client's various needs. In doing so I firstly created a number of different Custom Reports, for example; Annual Profit and Loss, Quarterly profit and loss, Quarterly profit and loss with last year, etc... When a custom report is created you nominate a name for the report (which must be unique) and a description which does not need to be unique. Upon creating all these different PnL reports I have given each a name that has a meaning to me and is unique. In the description field, I have simply entered Profit and Loss Report. When these reports are included in a Report Pack, they should be using the Description field for the Table of Contents - not the report name as that is the description of the report. While I am on this subject, any files that are imported into a report shows in the Table of Contents as it's file name. This should be editable so that it is meaningful to the client reading the reports rather than simply 'FineName.pdf" which is very unprofessional. Hi MYOB Team & Community, Since June 24 2026 we've had persistent timeout errors in our AccountRight file, mostly on sales, Profit & Loss and GL reports. We initially assumed this was EOFY load and would settle down. It hasn't. We're now three weeks into the new financial year and still hitting the same timeouts. We've stripped the data being loaded down to a bare minimum and the timeouts continue regardless. It's also broken our third-party apps connected to our file, as they hit the same timeout on transfer. This affects all users on our file, not one account or machine. Has anyone else experience these issues lately? If you've found a workaround, please share it. And if anyone from MYOB is monitoring this, we'd appreciate an actual explanation of what's causing it and a timeline for a fix, three weeks without reliable reporting has been incredibly challenging for our business at what is already one of our busiest times of year. Thanks.81Views0likes4CommentsMove Item report
It would be fantastic if we could have a actual report for when we move stock items within our locations Its great that we can actually move stocks to various locations but we also need a traceability report so we can have on record - what items, qty, user ID of whom moved the items - its very well the admin can move the items but we have nothing to forward the warehouse to physically move the items within our locations I know in the older "enterprise" version this was available but it has not been implemented in the AccountRight premier version Its a very vital part of multi location businesses103Views1like2CommentsSupplier Purchases Report - monthly single view
Wanting a report similar to the P&L that allows a view of each months spend with a particular supplier or suppliers. Currently the supplier purchases report can only generate a view within a specified date range, therefore I'm having to enter the date range of each month to generate the amount, manually record the value, then set the next months date range. I would suggest this view to be available for all types of reports.210Views0likes7CommentsSales Invoice Report with both due date and paid/closed date
Hi, There are a lot of sales reports but neither I nor the live chat support team, were able to find one that allowed me to modify it so both due date and closed date could be shown on the same report. Some reports allowed the due date, others allowed the paid/closed date but none of them allow both. My boss wants me to report on the average number of days overdue our overdue invoices go. I can get the daily snapshot from the to do list but again, if I 'print' the list to export it, the number of days overdue column disappears anyway, so I have to manually type the numbers into excel/calculator. But if I forget one day, then the data is gone. The report isn't back-date-able. I know I can also add a 'days to pay' column on some reports but I couldn't find any where I could get the due date as well to even do a calculation of overdue days. Since different customers have different payment terms, the number of days to pay is a useless stat for this purpose. Very happy to be proven wrong if this feature already exists. I don't even need the value of the invoices, just the difference between due date and paid date. I looked at both the desktop and browser versions of AccountRight.233Views4likes4Comments
