Online Tax Return Summary Shift/F2

Hello,

I am a manager as a part of my job I review staff tax returns. Is there a summary of the tax return (with the previous year comparative & items completed) on the online tax program like the AE Tax Shift/F2? This report is invaluable for a review purposes as it shows what fields were completed last year and what has been missed this year. I could understand if this is not available in the transition year to online but ongoing it should be a part of the online tax program. Thanks SR

    Hi CA99​ (and also including PhilipOcchiuto​ as you liked the original post)
    I touched base with the product manager and can advise the below for your information on this:

    "It is on our roadmap to deliver this capability for the next tax year, so that it will compare the next tax year, and data entered in this years tax return online.
    Once delivered, it won't be able to check a prior year prepared in AE/AO, with the current year online in Practice Compliance. 

    In the meantime, we suggest having a copy of the prior year PDF (or the return in AE/AO open), so you can view the online return and a PDF of the prior year side by side."

    Hey CA99​ 

    We unfortunately don't have an option similar to the Summary of Entered Items on AE for Practice Tax other than what is shown in the "Preview" of the return.

    I will pass this along to our team now for this to be raised as an enhancement request.
