After I recon the bank account and at times I need to adjust the transaction eg, car registration entered as all GST and I go into the transaction and change it to the correct split GST to GST free.
It then comes back into bank rec to be ticked off again.
Why is this as the amount remains the same.

Having those transactions come back as unreconciled after you’ve only changed something small definitely raises an eyebrow. At the moment, the software treats any change to a transaction as a new version, so it sends it back to be reconciled again.
It does mean a bit of extra work, but it also makes sure every change is properly reflected in your books, even the small ones.
