Duplicate Bank Transfer

Hi

 

Back in March I had a bank transfer between two accounts.

 

The from account the $1,000 transfer is duplicated.

In bank feeds I go and do a transfer.

I then go into account enquiry and yes it is duplicated 2 x $1000 bank transfers.

ONLY one actual transfer occurred.

I then delete the transfer - so yes it pops back up in my Bank Feeds to be reconciled.

 

Where can I delete the duplicated amount of the transfer?

    Hi Bcel

     

    Thanks for reaching out. 

     

    The bank feeds transactions are sent by the bank to the file. If the bank feeds show information that is duplicated that what the actual bank statement shows then we could request for the bank feed team to remove that. 

     

    For us to provide further assistance send me a private message containing your: 

    • Serial number 
    • Full name and email address 
    • Company name 
    • Company File ID (help > About MYOB AccountRight)
    • last 4 digits of the bank account 
    • information about the transaction.

    Oh

    Thank you very much for that.

    After I posted my question.

    I right mouse click and found the 'hide' function.

    The bank seemed to reconcile.

    I say seemed, perhaps in me hiding the duplication the bank is not actually reconciled.

    I have EOM due today and I am pushed for time.

     

    should I still send the information you request for MYOB to review.

    Hi Bcel 

     

    Thanks you so much for coming back to us and sharing an updates on the issue. 

     

    We have actually have the option of hiding transactions to have the account to be reconciled. But if it still showing you can have the option to remove the transactions on your bank feeds, however, if we remove the bank transaction you will no longer see that on your bank feeds permanently. 

     

    If you want that transaction to be removed on your bank feeds, you can send us a Private Message with the details on your account.
