I need to export card files for our customers that we have transacted with in the last 3 years only into a csv file. We do not want to import old ones we don't transact with anymore as the file is too large and this is a good opportunity to clean up our data. Is there a way to do this?

Would you mind expanding what MYOB product you are using?
If you are using AccountRight 2021, exporting customer cards via the File>>Import/Export Assistant option will export all customer cards. You would not be able to only select certain customers through that process. However, if you wanted to know the last sales date of a transaction you could use the Card List window and customise it to add the Last Sale/Purchase date column in. This window can then be filtered to show you only the cards after that period. You can also copy the on-screen information on the clipboard to paste in Excel or Notepad or a similar application. It is also worth calling out the exporting of cards via the Import/Export Assistant generates a copy of the data. It will not delete or remove the current information that is listed in the card list. You would need to ensure that no transactions are associated with the card, and select Edit>>Delete card to delete a card.
