Hi, I am trying to establish if GST has been applied to an actual account code? Is there a report that will show this? ie: There is rental expense & I only want to look at this? The GL Ledger detail doesnt show that i can find & the GST report shows everything? I am using Accountright. Thanks

If you wanna double-check that your transactions have GST added, just have a squiz at the GST reports, that’s your go-to. Or if you wanna see whether a particular transaction’s got GST on it, you can do a quick recap to see what accounts it’s hit. There’s some handy info in the “Recapping Transactions” article if you wanna check out more about how that works.

yes i have looked at the GST report, however that shows all the transactions for the period. I only want to look at a particular code like rent expense & check the GST, etc?

There's no report in AccountRight Desktop that shows exactly what you’re after, but you might be able to get what you need using the General Ledger report in the browser. You can tweak it to include tax codes and amounts. Here’s a forum post that explains how to run and set up the report in detail.
