Back up on longer on desktop
Hi all,
Now that we are forced on line and our back ups are stored there, what happens when the internet is down? Can I still access a backup or data file on my desk top?

Hi Itsme,
If the internet decides to have a nap, you’re not stuck. If you’ve been using the online file but have saved a backup or local copy to your computer before, you can open that file and keep working while you’re offline. Just a heads-up that anything you do in the local file won’t sync back to the online one automatically. Once you’re back online, you’d need to restore the backup or re-enter any changes you made. If you’re not already keeping local backups, it’s worth starting now so you’ve got a “break glass in case of internet drama” copy ready to go.
