Employee cards created automatically

Hi Support team,

We have found four cards which have been created under Employee cards, but we cannot recall opening these cards.  There are no personal details attached.  When trying to delete the cards we get a message saying that the employees have invoices on file.

When looking at the “History” tab in the employee card file we see transaction totals.  Can someone please provide details of these transactions?

    Hi LearnerAtMYOB,

    That’s actually normal. it looks like those employee cards were used as salespeople, which is why you’re seeing invoices linked to them in the card history. Even if they weren’t used for payroll, if they were selected as the salesperson.

     

    That’s also why you’re seeing an error when trying to delete them — the system sees them as being in use because of those invoices.

    Thank you for the explanation!

    Your explanation makes sense for two employees, but then we also have other codes which do not make sense.  Is there a way that I can drill deeper to see what the linked transactions are in these instances?
