Is this mail mail@apps.myob.com genuine coming from MYOB please.

The mail says "Your MYOB Business setting have changed"

This shows bank account number in this mail and that is correct. We have not changed bank account.

Can I get assistance please

    Yes, that is a legitimate email from MYOB that was generated. We also strongly suggest you check any details listed on the email to ensure these changes were made intentionally.

    You can check the session security audit report for a list of user logins to you file to determine who made these changes.

    Account Right > Reports menu > Index of Reports > Accounts tab > Security and Audit heading > Session Security Audit

     

     

    Please also note that this email is precautionary but as we have noticed changes to sensitive settings in your company file we do recommend you check your company file for any changes to things like;

             -              Invoice account details

             -              Superannuation details for employees

             -              Customer or supplier details

    This email notification is just to be safe.  You should also make sure you have up to date anti-virus software on all your devices.

    Thnaks so much for the reply. That helps. Can we lock the banking details section of supplier to some users please. But they are allowed other tabs / sections. Apprecaite your reply
