Lock dates & invoices

After a lock date, how do I cancel an invoice where the service was cancelled & no money was received. & if I do will it effect the bas that was processed in the lock date.

    Hi Kezza111

     

    Thanks for posting your concern in the forum. 

     

    I understand there are times when we need to remove a transaction from previous periods. Unfortunately, there is no option to remove this invoice while the lock period is turned on. You will need to temporarily remove the lock date and remove this transaction. 

     

    I recommend reading through this article, Lock a Period. This will provide an overview of the lock period feature.
