New MYOB does not fit on my screen

I have the latest AR version of MYOB installed and it is very annoying as the screen display does not fit on my laptop monitor and I am forever having to minimise the display just to record a transaction or find reports etc. Why does MYOB keep making changes and doing this to us making life difficult!!!

  • Hi margedwards,

Changes we make are always intended to improve user experience, but we completely understand how difficult it can be when the display doesn’t fit quite right on your screen. Stuff like this can be a real hassle.

This issue might have something to do with how your monitor’s resolution and scaling settings jiving with the latest AccountRight version. Adjusting your display settings could help fix this. If not, please head over to this link and tap the bell icon in the top corner to keep yourself in the loop for updates.

    Cheers,

    MYOB

I have had to lug around a giant, heavy laptop for YEARS because MYOB has not considered how the program is actually used and a large screen is required to actually access some of the essential elements of pop up windows (as they don't resize based on the screen size) and there are ZERO accessibility options to improve readability.  Even a slight change in font size has MYOB fields covering data entry areas. It really has been a long running issue that hasn't been fixed.

  • This usually happens due to display scaling or screen resolution conflicts with AccountRight.

Set your Windows display scaling to 100% or 125% and increase the screen resolution to the recommended level. Also try maximizing the window or using an external monitor for better workspace. If the issue remains, update AccountRight and your graphics drivers, as newer patches often fix UI scaling problems.
