Bank Rec changed after changing the account code of a transaction - please someone help!!!

I had reconciled bank for 31/3/2022 in April 2022. while reviewing some of the transactions, i noticed one of them was coded wrong and hence i changed the acccount code of the trx on 2.9.2022(i didnt touch payment entry or bank account code). 

now ( in Sep 2022) that transaction appears as unreconciled. How do i fix it? Do i need to undo reconciliation until March 2022 and reconcile again? Is there any easy way to fix this?

    Hi MaroniteV 

     

    Thanks for your post. Any changes made to a reconciled transaction will cause it to become unreconciled. You will need to undo the bank recs back to March and then re-do the reconciliations.
