We apologize for the difficulty you have been experiencing when sending an invitation to your accountant. We are truly thankful for your patience and understanding during this time.
In this matter, if you have access, what I would do is open Essentials and go to: Business Name (In top right) >> click Users, then confirm the email address being used because I have accidentally used the wrong one before.
If this is the correct email, it sounds like it might be the password being entered having problems. On the same screen (Users) you can click "Change Password" to reset it so that when your accountant makes their next attempt on their computer, they have a freshly set password in mind to enter.
Please note: They may need to refresh the login page on their computer before it recognizes the change.
