Old subscription

Hello, is there a way to locate an old MYOB subscription for which payment has ceased?  I am a bookkeeper and the old bookkeeper for the company I want to access has pretty much disappeared and failed to provide access to MYOB or any historical data etc.  Wondering if it is possible for MYOB to locate the files via company name / ABN etc if we can verify right to access by company director etc?

    If you're not yet listed as a contact on the account, the best course of action would be to have the owner, or someone already listed on the file reach out to our support team. They can assist in adding you to the file.

    I have the old email address that was used but the prior bookkeeper is not able to be contacted.  Is there a number my client is able to call to gain access?  Also what information will they need to have to hand - ABN, address etc?

    Absolutely! Your client has several options for getting in touch with our support team. They can call MYOB Support for help. They should be ready with details like their ABN and address and any other relevant account information to speed up the process.

     

    Additionally, they can seek help from our virtual assistant, MOCA, on our website or ask for support through their account at myob.com. If MOCA can't provide the needed help, they'll be transferred to our live chat team, who can assist further and provide our support contact number if needed.

  • Hello, I used online chat with a real support person and they advised that without the Client ID or Serial # of the old subscription there was no way to locate the account.  Is there anyway the subscription can be located using ABN etc? Thank you, Fiona

    Hi BluePixie,

    Thanks for your response. I suggest contacting the previous owner of the file first and then reaching out to our support team. They can locate the old file using the owner's or admin's email login. If they are unable to find the file using the ABN number, please feel free to start a new post with any further queries, and we'll be happy to assist you.
