Employment Status to 'Terminated'

On Business Pro, the old interface was easier, but now I can not for the life of me change the status of an employee to "terminated". Under "Payroll >  Employees > John Doe > Employment"

Still shows up on Payroll wanting hours to be filled out. 

Any Ideas?

    Hi aplus1999

     

    To ensure that terminated employees no longer appear when processing pays, please enter their termination date in the system. This will streamline your payroll process smoothly. To do this, you can refer to the steps below:

    • Go to Payroll.
    • Select Employees and then click the employee.
    • Go to Employment.
    • Then enter the date under Terminate date field.
