Incorrectly defined a pay item as 'not reportable' or 'do not report to the ATO'.

Hi team,

 

I had incorrectly defined a pay item (salary) as 'not reportable' or 'do not report to the ATO' for an employee for the last financial year. PAYG amount is populated in his ATO pre-fill, but not to gross salary amount which is showing zero. How can I go about fixing it? Thank you.

    Hi there JJHH,

     

    Since the pay item was incorrectly tagged as "Not Reportable," you'll need to update it with the correct ATO reporting category. First, go to the pay item in question and change its ATO reporting category to the correct one. After updating the reporting category, send an update event to the ATO. Make sure this update event is for the last financial year to correct the records. This should ensure that the gross salary amount is correctly reported to the ATO.
