Payroll

I need to pay someone a monthly figure (the same each month) but all I can find when I set up is hourly or annual How do I do this?

  • Hi Aysh21,

    Thank you for your post.

If this is a salaried employee and you are wanting to pay this employee a fixed amount each month, you will first need to make sure this employee is set as 'Salary' and is on a 'monthly' pay cycle, you can check this by opening the employee card > Payroll details > Salary and wages > Pay basis and Pay cycle. Once you have adjusted these two fields, you will then need to navigate to the 'Standard pay' tab (still in the employee card) and enter the fixed gross amount in the Base salary - amount ($) field. Press save.

Moving forward this will be the standard pay each month.

If you have any further queries or require further assistance, please let me know.
