Super paid prior to pay super set-up
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. We paid our Q3 super via the clearing house prior to setting up pay super. Now I need to record the payment but MYOB Business wants to debit our account. How can we avoid this?

If the super was already paid outside Pay Super via the clearing house, you shouldn’t process it again in MYOB Business, otherwise it can try to debit the account again. Instead, you can just record it manually. You can do this by creating a Spend Money transaction for the payment from the business bank account and allocate it to the Superannuation Payable account. Then, when the bank transaction comes through, you can just match it in Bank transactions. This records the payment in MYOB without charging you again.
