Bills vs Spend Money
Hello,
Why is it that I can search up a supplier when I have entered the expense as a "Bill", and I cannot search per supplier when the expense has been entered as "Spend Money"?

Hi
When you do a bill the contact name is recorded in the contact /payee field
When you do a spend money the contact name is recorded as name
So to find spend money transactions I suggest you go to the gl report select the dates you want and the bank account you want , cutomise and add all fields
I have attached an example to show how it appears
If you want to search suppliers I do suggest that the best practice is to enter bills, this helps reconcile their statements also
