Duplicate Invoice Numbers

I was working on the browser and desktop file this afternoon. I entered an invoice on the desktop which was then marked as paid, then approx 30 mins later entered another invoice within the browser interface. It was allocated the exact same invoice number as previous sale. I'm not really comfortable with having multiple invoices with the same number.  How can I prevent it in future?

    Take care when accessing the online file via browser - it is a 'work in progress' and if the desktop version is any indication, it will take MYOB some time to iron out all the bugs. Even with the desktop, when you import invoices, it too ignores the 'do not allow duplicate invoice number' setting.

     

    When you can, safer to access via the desktop software for the time being.
