Hi Terry4,
Welcome to the Community Forum! I get how it can be a bit of a hassle not being able to edit a customer's details directly on the sale invoice. This is because the invoice uses information from the Contacts section to keep things consistent. So, to change a customer's details, you'll need to do it in Contacts first. Kindly see the editing customer details article for more information. Feel free to start a new post again if you need further assistance.
