Best place to save supporting receipts for general journal entries

Hi!

Fairly new user to myob.  I currently use general journal entries to upload several purchases at once made using personal account and then add a directors loan amount to offset.  Is there a function / best practice way of storing the supporting receipts for these transactions or would these just be kept in my own files using the GJE number?  Alternatively is there a better way of recording these purchases / should I be doing this differently?

Thank you! :)

    Hi jetski

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum.

I understand the need to have all receipts connected to the company file. I recommend reading through the article, Working with In Tray Documents. The In Tray is a feature where you can upload documents for your file.

How you record your purchases will depend greatly on your preferences. But you can read through this article, Enter a Bill, Quote, or Order to see if this will work better for you.

Let us know if you require any further assistance.

    Thanks,
    Genreve
