Error deleting a header job

Issue:
When attempting to delete a header job in our job list that is a sub of another header job, we encounter the following error:
“An unrecognised error occurred - CommonRules_DoubleMaxValue” OR "The percentage complete value must be less than, or equal to 100.

Description:
It seems there is a database error related to calculating the percentage complete, which is causing the issue. The top level header is displaying a percentage complete value of 128%.

Impact:
This error prevents us from adding, deleting, or modifying any jobs or header jobs nested under the top-level header.

    Hi MichaelC,

The error message "The percentage complete value must be less than or equal to 100" in MYOB usually indicates a database error related to calculating the percentage complete. To fix this go to the job list window, go into each sub-job of header job 'projects.'. Take note of the percent complete figures. Zero out the percent figures. Once all amounts in the percent complete field have been removed from every sub-job, see if the program allows for you to type in a figure into the new job. If it does, accept it this time around; you can then go ahead and try inputting the relevant figures back into each sub-job window.

Hi, this is happening to me now as well.
But if i change the job percentages to 0 it puts my job budget analysis report way out.
Has anyone solved this without having to ruin the reporting?

    Hi Lirpa,

Looks like that pesky error "The percent complete value must be less than, or equal to 100." is sticking around, even after setting the job percentage to zero. No dramas, but it’s definitely something we’ll need to dive into a bit more. If fixing that percentage has also left your Job Budget Analysis Report looking all out of whack, the best move from here is to reach out to our superstar team. You can chat with them live through our virtual assistant MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
