error trying to export report to excel 80010001 Call was rejected by callee

Question

Hi, trying to export a report to excel - have done it hundreds of times before - but this morning getting error :

Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error : 80010001 Call was rejected by callee (Exception from HRESULT:0x80010001(RPC_E_CALL_REJECTED)).

Have rebooted computer, and done a quick repair of excel. (Office 365, lastest updates installed. MYOB AccountRight Premier AU 2022.1.0 Build 2022.1.24.5785).

thank you Komal,&nbsp;I should have posted back - it took me a day or two to resolve, unfortunately I don't recall the details but it did involve changing a system setting on my computer.&nbsp; Thank you though for your reply.&nbsp;

The error "Creating an instance of the COM component&nbsp;"&nbsp;is an interop error meaning&nbsp;when a program such as AccountRight asks which version of Office/Excel is installed, the wrong version is being reported back, causing a communication problem and errors between the programs.
&nbsp;
This can happen when different versions of Office/Excel may have been previously installed on the computer, and components/values are left behind.
&nbsp;
There is a range of interop errors, these most often are fixed by one of the following:
&nbsp;
1. Quick Repair office. (any missing files should be added back), if it doesn't work, move to the next step.
2. Re-install Microsoft Office. ( If this doesn't work either, please follow the next step).3. Re-Register DLL files and Check/Fix&nbsp;Registry Keys (there are 3 to complete)
Step 3 would require an IT Professional as its an environmental issue, with windows having missing or incorrect information and this help article has similar instructions which might help:&nbsp;
