Adding a new employee gets rejected
I have a new business with 2 employees only. But I can't submit their details to IRD even though I have authorised MYOB in my business IR account.
Things I have done so far:
- I double checked that it's the business account, not my personal account.
- Followed the steps in the link for my error code 4.

- I removed authorisation and added back again as suggested. And tried submitting again. No luck.
- MYOB is definitely authorised within my business IRD account (screenshot provided)

Nice work checking the link and trying a few things already, and thanks for the screenshot as well. That "Unauthorised Delegation" message from IRD usually means the myIR login that authorised MYOB doesn’t currently have the right access to file payroll for that business. Most of the time, it’s because the email you use to log in to IRD doesn’t have the correct permissions in myIR. Try logging in to myIR and check whether the email you’re using is the same one that actually has access to the account. You can check this under Settings/Access > Logins. If everything looks right there and you’re still seeing the error, our team can dig into it further for you.
