That particular message means that deleting the adjustment will leave that item with a dollar value but no on-hand items. Since AccountRight requires there to be on-hand quantities if there is an on-hand dollar amount, it’s not possible to delete a transaction that would remove the quantity of an item but not the on-hand value of that item.
If you were trying to reduce that item to zero, the inventory adjustment would need to reduce both the on-hand quantity and on-hand value to zero. This could be done either as a single inventory adjustment if you know the full value of the on-hand amount. In contrast, if you weren’t fully sure about the exact amount of the on-hand value you could do two inventory adjustments, one for all bar one of the inventory items and their value and then one to remove the last item and the balance of the current dollar value.
