Employee nominating a different PAYG rate

Hi,

I have an employee paid Fortnightly who wants to nominate to pay 31% PAYG.

They are casual and have previously only earnt app $20K a year.

I have offered them to nominate the Additional tax each fortnight but this is not suitable  due to there fluctuating casual hours.

Current they have nominated to Not Claim the TFTH so tax is currently being taken on all wage.

Can you advise if this is possible ? Thanks so much for your assistance

    Hi Chester1,

Thanks for your query. I understand your employee wants 31% PAYG withheld. In this case, it’s best to check with the ATO or your accountant for the most accurate advice.

    Regards,
