Final pay mishap - urgent help needed
OMG I just went to process end of year payroll and I am out $170.83.
on comparing the payroll summary report and comparing the YTD finalisation report - it is for unused leave - it’s on the payroll summary report but not on the other one.
i did a final pay back on 31 Jan and I thought I did it correctly (I followed the instructions from the internet) and paid out his last day, but I now see that the unused leave is only listed on the payslip under YTD figures but it didn’t come out anywhere to be paid out on the payslip ie. didn’t show up anywhere else to be paid.
unfortunately I obviously didn’t double check to make sure it was correct. Just assumed it was all good :(
I don’t understand why this happened and don’t know how to fix it.
I am used to Xero and MYOB has behaved unexpectedly.
i need to fix before 1st July.

You will need to look at older pay slips to find when the unused pay was paid as it wasn't paid on the final slip (there is 2 hours noted on the slip but no payment amount which will only remove hours from the entitlement balance). If the amount varies for the category in the YTD verification, try running a blank slip for the employee and reporting it to the ATO as you would normally.
