Fixing STP payrun on MYOB

We have  a client who used to run as a trust. Last year they started operating as a company. They do all their payroll on MYOB. Recently we received a notice from the ATO saying super for the quarter 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024 has been paid late/ unpaid till date. The super liability amount per ATO records through STP was approximately 52K. However, when we check the payroll summary report on MYOB for the same period the super raised shows as 15K. We are unable to figure out how the STP filed with the ATO showed 52K versus what's currently shown on MYOB which is 15K for April 2024 to June 2024. How come there is a gap of 37K. Are we able to see a history of any double up in payruns filed with the ATO through STP?

    Hi @apekshanadkarni

ATO values should usually match MYOB values, so this sounds pretty unusual. I recommend checking your Best to reach out to our team so they can dig into it more. You can create a ticket through the MyAccount window or chat live with our virtual assistant MOCA for help.

  • What is the best way to check on MYOB if there has been duplicate payrun filing with the ATO?  MyAccount doesnt give me the option to raise a ticket on this issue.

    Hi jfarnaus,

To double-check if there's been any duplicate filing with the ATO, have a squiz at your payroll reports—payroll activity, payroll register, and the YTD verification report. Make sure everything’s looking spot-on with no mismatches or duplicate figures. As for raising a support ticket, this link has got you covered with the steps to get it done.

    Cheers,
