Holiday Leave not accruing

There is something very odd going on with MYOB AR Payroll.

 

I have been using Payroll to handle leave for the last 5 years for my permanent salaried employees and have had no problems with accruing Holiday Leave and Personal Leave until now.

 

Please see attached.

 

FY24 looks OK but HL has not been accruing correctly in FY25. I have just shown one employee as an example but it is happening to all. I have made no changes in the way their HL is setup (see attached).

 

I have read responses to other posts stating that the 3rd radio button (Equals X hours per pay period) but I have used the 2nd radio button for 5 years without problem.

 

Can you please help.

    Hi there Lennyledoo,

     

    You'll need to check and setup the Calculation Basis according to the employee's Pay Basis to ensure accurate leave accrual. The Calculation Basis for leave accrual depends on the Pay Basis of the employee, which can be either hourly or salary. For hourly employees, the calculation basis should be set to "Equals [x] Percent of." For salary employees, it should be set to "Equals [x] Hours per." If these settings weren't setup correctly, the Holiday Leave accrual wouldn't be calculated properly. You can also check this link for more information.

      Thanks Doreen however for 5 years I have had the same setup without any problems and now it’s stopped accruing leave. MYOB has done something in the back end that they are not telling us about. I’ve read lots of posts with exactly the same problem. I believe that a certain update has stuffed up accruals.

        I understand that you've been using the same setup for 5 years and haven't encountered issues before. I'd recommend reaching out to our support team directly on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount so they can take a look at what's happening to Holiday Leave not accruing.
