merge 5 myob files into one

Hi

i used 5 myob files to record my payroll in separate 5 States that in this way easy for me to calculate payroll tax and assign different payroll task to staffs.

Now i am considering to merge them all into one file. i had few questions:

1) is it possible?

2)Can I keep all payroll history from old files after merge to new file?

Not likely other than opening entitlement balances.

FYI- I utilise the CardID field to filter reports for the various states (I use QLD-1, QLD-2,NSW-1,NSW-2, SA-1,SA-2 etc etc). This allows me to easily produce the necessary payroll reports excluding unwanted states to construct the figures for each of the states.

    Hi marcia3127

Thank you for your post. As Freman mention it is not possible to completely merge the files but you could import some information e.g. Employee cards.

For a list of what can be imported and steps to follow, refer to this Help Article: Importing and exporting data.
