Payroll - A/L & S/L

Most of our technicians fall under MA000025 – Electrical Award & MA000036 Plumbing and Fire Sprinkler Award. They work 40hours a week as per and either accrue 2hours or 4 hours per week as RDO. On 40hours they accrue - Annual leave of 3.077hours & Sick leave of 1.539 hours Therefore, we have set it up as fixed Equals 3.077 hours per pay period in MYOB. These employees don’t accrue A/L & S/L when they are on RDO. Then we must manually edit A/L & S/L We want to avoid manual editing and thought about changing to 7.6923% of Gross hours. When we do this they have worked for 40hours and accruing 4 hours as RDO then normal working hours will be 36hours. A/L & S/L gets calculated at 36hours not 40hours as per the award. Please advise as to how to fix this in the back ground.

    I would suggest to change the set up of your entitlements category. You can select the User-entered amount per pay period. I understand that manual editing or entering numbers when recording a pay costs time to work. However on this set up you'll be manually entering the accrued hours per pay period.
