Payroll Summary not correct - Employee YTD cleared?

I had a full-time employee. When he left I terminated him and made him inactive. He then came back for a bit as a casual. I removed the inactive tick and updated his payroll detail. After 4 hours of struggling with Payroll Summary that does not match W1 figures, we found that the full-time YTD figures for the employee is cleared. The payslips are still there and correct, but the YTD is zero. How do I fix this? How can MYOB prevent this from occurring?

  • MYOB support team had me enter the YTD totals as per the last payslip for the full-time portion of his work, into the Pay History on the Employee card. Then on Payroll reporting for the Financial Year, we sent an Update Event.
