PaySuper from Electronic Clearing Account

We're attempting to do our first run of PaySuper from MYOB and have obviously misunderstood how the process works. When selecting "Pay From Account" We have put it to the Electronic Clearing House thinking we need to pay it form the bank but it isn't coming up in the file when we go there. When we went in to reverse the transaction it is saying that the funds may still be withdrawn from your account. Essentially we want to know if we reverse it if its going to cause any issues to fix it so it comes from the correct account, also if we need to do anything after we have authorised it from that account.

  • Hi AlbPrecEng,

Easy one to get mixed up on your first crack at Pay Super. In the Pay From Account field, you should select the bank account you’re paying from. Your super payments will always be taken from the bank account you nominated and verified when you set up Pay Super. If the wrong account was chosen in that field, it won’t change the actual withdrawal account, but it will affect the accuracy of your data in AccountRight.

Since you’ve already authorised the payment and MYOB is warning that the funds may still be withdrawn, it's best to check with our team first before reversing and reprocessing the payment. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

I set up Pay Super , I setup my SFMF with ESA but still got errors

I have that message in MYOB :

Every time I try to pay super , after selecting super payments, creating super payments , selecting super payments and when hit RECORD  I have following message :

Employees fund can not be verified, try to create new fund or choose fund from the list

When I am in payroll settings, superannuation funds and in the fund itself I am not able to update that fund as I have following message :

Before you can record a super payment that includes a self-managed super fund (SMSF), your Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports must be successfully accepted by the ATO.

My STP was accepted by ATO years ago as I am MYOB user for a long time.

Also I m not able to delete unwanted funds from the list.

I understand that because we have SMSF in place something else need to be done by MYOB to make it work. As Ato SMCH is not longer to work from 01/07/26 other clearing house will take over.

I have found out there is MYOB super portal which is going next clearing house for super.

What does it mean to make my super file online ?

What do I have to do to make it online ?

    I appreciate your help.

    Hi roadlink

Thanks for describing what you've dont so far with the error messages. From what you’ve described, it looks like the company file is probably still offline. Pay Super only works with online AccountRight files, so that would explain the errors you’re seeing.

If you need a hand checking that, jump onto My Account or live chat through our virtual assistant MOCA, and the team can take a closer look. You can also follow the steps here to put the file online: Put your company file online.

    Regards,
