Re: Unable to access Payroll Reporting Centre

Hi there,

I am waiting for the product support for 1 1/2 hours and yet on the position 7. Can someone assist to fix the problem. Unable to access Payroll Reporting Centre. It said Something went wrong at our end. Tried many times to check as advice but still having problem to access. No sure all STP reported have transmitted to ATO.

Please help

  • Hi lynwong

Our teams investigations into that error indicate it is caused by out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates. To confirm if this is causing your issue check the diagnostic log for the following error:

System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

If the diagnostic log shows that error make sure Windows and security updates are completed. You can also try putting your company file online to report STP.

If the diagnostic log contains a different error please provide a screenshot of that log so I can assist further.

Found this issue when PC running MYOB was either on

      windows 8.1 PC

      or

Server edition on Server 2012 R2

standalone or cloud data file was the same issue

      Solution, that worked for us

      if running local data file:

we copied data file to windows 10 computer running MYOB 2022.9 and worked

      or cloud data file

we ran MYOB 2022.9 on windows 10 PC and connected to cloud file and worked

        Hi lynwong

Can you please check if the diagnostic log contains the following error:

MYOB.Huxley.API.HuxleySingleTouchPayrollServiceException:  (SingleTouchPayrollServiceError): Error while trying to post pay event to 'https://pay-event-publisher.payroll.prod.myob.com/payevent' ---> System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

If it does, your issue relates to out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates. To resolve the error we recommend making sure Windows and security updates are completed and that you are using a supported version: System requirements

If your file is not online, you can also try putting your company file online to report STP. Please note, if you have transitioned to STP Phase 2 your company file must be online to report STP.

skihappy has also provided some great advice for resolving this issue.

Instructions for getting the diagnostic log are in this post: AccountRight log locations

If the diagnostic log contains a different error please provide a screenshot of that log so that I can assist further.
