Same Business, New ABN, How to notify ATO and Superfunds via MYOB AccountRight

Hello,

Our business is being restructured from being a trust into a company, effective from 31 OCT 2025. Every thing will be the same, except the ABN, we will have a new ABN. Our accountant has advised to keep the same company file, we will just need to change the ABN on 31 Oct 2025

Can you please help me out with these queries:

  • Will we just simply change the ABN to the new ABN on the Company Information on MYOB AccountRight app?
  • How do we notify the ATO (for payroll purposes) and superfunds ( we use Pay Superannuation) about the new ABN and business structure?

    Thanks heaps for sharing all the details. Sounds like you've got a big change coming up with that restructure.
