STP finalisation failed

I can't finalise 2022-23 STP for one employee set up in MYOB Accountright.  I keep getting an error stating "The State entered in this employee's address is either blank or in the wrong format." There is no ATO error code provided.  The State in the employee's card file has been selected from the drop down box as QLD (it was originally blank).  I have tried to resubmit STP filings after the State was fixed but keep getting the same error.  All other employees have been successfully filed.

    Thanks for your post.

     

    We're sorry to hear that you can't finalise for one of your employees due to the error you received. To correct the situation, kindly check if the State is written in capital letters. Also, Are there any characters in the address, for example, 1/2 Happy St.? If so, can you remove the characters and see if that resolves the issue.

    The state is in capitals and there are no special characters in the address.

    Sorry for the delay in response.

     

    Since the state is in capital and there are no special characters in the address, kindly remove the address entered for this employee and then enter a different address. It can be the same with other employees who are not affected by the error message. Make sure to select from the dropdown when filling out the fields.
