STP Software ID changing

Question

HI MYOB&nbsp;I have a a few client that i process payroll for as a tax agent.&nbsp;I have noticed alot of the STP finalisation and STP reporting is being rejected due the incorrect Software ID #&nbsp;(ATO error code: SBR.GEN.AUTH.008)Is there a reason why this number would change - i have been lodging for numerous year with no issue for the same clients but it looks like the software id# is possibly different&nbsp; and I am having to contact the ATO to advise of the new ID#..&nbsp;&nbsp;Is this a MYOB issue or an ATO issue..&nbsp;&nbsp;

The software number shouldn't have been changed, it might just be an issue with identifying the software ID, I would suggest following these steps and just resending the alert of the Software ID and this should resolve&nbsp;SBR.GEN.AUTH.008 error code.

Go to the&nbsp;Payroll&nbsp;menu and choose&nbsp;Single Touch Payroll reporting.
Click the&nbsp;ATO settings&nbsp;tab.
Note down your&nbsp;Software ID.
Notify the ATO you're using MYOB for payroll reporting by either:

phoning the ATO on 1300 852 232, or
using&nbsp;Access Manager&nbsp;to notify the ATO of a hosted SBR software service.

Thank you Chris.&nbsp;I have now had to call the ATO to update 6 clients with the new / corected software ID...&nbsp;&nbsp;This seems to only have happened since the latest 2 new versions have been download...&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
