STP Update Event
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue. When my director tried to lodge our PAYG today, he realised that the amount does not match the "Payroll Summary" Report. Upon checking, I identified three pay runs in June (WE020624, WE090624, and WE160624) that have different amounts in the "Payroll Summary" report compared to what was lodged in the STP reporting. It appears that the STP reporting shows higher S&W and PAYG compared to the "Payroll Summary" report. I have done the "update event" on 24/06/24, 26/06/24 02/07/24 and 04/07/24, but want to check if these updates will rectify the incorrect amounts for the past pay runs (WE020624, WE090624, and WE160624). My director downloaded the STP reporting from the ATO lodgement, and I can see the update events, but the past figures are still incorrect.
I contacted support today and was on hold for an hour. I was told to do the same thing, "update event." Before I could inform them that I had already done that, the call was disconnected after 5 PM.
