Superannuation Report - Qualifying Earnings

Is there one report that I can use that will show me each employee's SGC, salary sacrifice and their qualifying earnings (as required by PayDay Super)?

    Hi sarsj,

Good question, especially with a defined benefit fund being a bit extra about their rules. MYOB isn’t compatible with ATO-approved SAFF files as Pay Super shoots contributions straight from inside MYOB.

    Cheers,

    Hi sarsj,

Love this question! There isn’t really a single “all-in-one” report that shows an employee’s SGC, salary sacrifice, and Qualifying Earnings (QE) all together. You can definitely see their SGC in the super payment reports, but for a full breakdown of their earnings you’ll need to export a couple of other payroll reports as well. I'll also share a few links on the upcoming Payday Super, in case you’d like to read up on what’s changing.

    Cheers,

    Princess

    OK - thank you.

Can you also tell me if MYOB is compatible with the ATO approved SAFF files?

I have an employee with a defined benefit superannuation account, and their fund requires SAFF file to report their contributions.
